Festival Latino, 11a.m. to 7p.m. Sept 15, Rapids on the Reservoir, Brandon. Salsa and merengu dancing; dance contests: local Latino bands; Latin American cuisine by Luis Bruno,

Pioneer and Indian Festival, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 29, Mississippi Crafts Center,
950 Rice Road, Ridgeland. Choctaws give demonstrations: beadwork, pioneer crafts, blacksmith work, broom-making,spinning, arrowhead-making, wooden toy-making,

Gluckstadt GermanFest, 11 a.m. to 5p.m. Sept 30, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Gluckstadt.
Authentic German folk band (Die Mitternachters), shish kabobs, bratwurst, sauerkraut, German

WellsFest '07, 8a.m. (5K run and walk and one-mile fun run); 10a.m. to 5p.m.,
Sept 29, Jamie Fowler Boyll Park, next to Smith- wills Stadium, Jackson. All proceeds go to
Common Bond, a shelter and addiction recovery center in Jackson. Nonstop music: acoustic
rock, blues, gospel jazz, Classic party rock, rhythm & blues, Latin jazz and rock, folk blues,
