EXCEL
EXCEL is a summer enrichment program designed to provide disadvantaged/underserved high school students from grades 9-12 with the opportunity to participate in challenging math, science, computer, and language arts coursework. Students are also given the opportunity to explore health career opportunities through mentoring programs and exposure to healthcare professionals. Counselors from the target schools recruit students for the EXCEL program, beginning in September of each year. Tougaloo College serves as the site for our EXCEL program. |

Applications for Summer 2011 are currently being accepted.
Instructions for applying:
- Complete the Pipeline Program Application (Word or PDF)
- Complete the EXCEL Supplemental Application (Word or PDF)
- Submit two (2) Letters of Recommendation (Word or PDF)
- Be sure to sign pages 1 and 4 of the Pipeline Program Application
- Be sure to type your name on each application page where requested.
- Be sure your application is dated correctly.
- Submit official transcripts sent by your high school.
- Print and mail the completed application and all supplemental materials.
